About
JP Toto is the VP of Application Development for Cognis IT, a full service IT consulting and software development firm in Collegeville, PA. On the side he runs a small (very small) consulting business, directs Barcamp Philly which he co-founded, and leads the MVCMelee ASP.NET MVC coding competition.
JP got his start in the enterprise and spent the better part of his formative years designing intranets for pharmaceutical and financial services companies in the Philadelphia area. After joining Cognis IT, 30Points has changed function to serve as JP’s Tawp Sekrit Laboratory supporting his side endeavors. You can check out some of his projects on GitHub.
In his spare time JP enjoys getting his ass kicked in Call of Duty 4, making fun of people who wear Crocs and/or use MySpace, twittering tripe, building robots, baking pies, and building robots that bake pies.
JP participates in other community focused groups such as Philly ALT.NET, Philly.NET, Philly.rb, and a couple other ad hoc groups helping to bring new media and technology awareness to Philadelphia.
